Generosity takes many forms. I have observed that generosity extends into one’s manner of thinking about others. You can walk down the street and give £5 to a Big Issue seller and feel good about yourself, but in the next moment have a most ungenerous thought about someone you pass in the street, or when you are at home you can have thoughts that are anything but generous about the person or people you live with. We are also routinely ungenerous towards ourselves with our attitudes and thoughts. So it seems true generosity runs deep and silent and probably unnoticed by most of the world but the nectar for the soul is sweet indeed.
