“Everything you can imagine is real.”
What inspires me: nature, dreams, visions, faces, animals, archetypes, and my grandmother’s sketch books.
I have been painting and drawing as long as I can remember. As a young girl in Florence I studied portraiture with the renowned and much loved Nerina Simi, and later took up Florentine ceramic art at the Scuola di Ceramica, Montelupo.
I have retained a life long love of the great Renaissance artists, along with Chagall and Picasso, Gauguin, the PreRaphaelites, Buddhist Art, Alex Grey and many more.
In my travels I became a painter of horse drawn vehicles and illustrated signs.
Currently based in beautiful Ceredigion, Wales when not on my travels, it is my pleasure to accept commissions for portraits (people, animals, deities) , pictures on stones, illustrated signs, murals, landscapes and other themes of your choice.
To create art is my great delight and I hope with this work to communicate my love and reverance for the great privelege of being alive at this time in the magnificent creation called the world.
